The process of inner healing is a long and difficult road that can be made simpler if we are committed to the growth and development that we need in order to do better in our personal and professional lives. We must be able to stay on top of all aspects of our lives and this means that we have to, continually go through the process of inner healing. To improve your self-awareness you first need to concentrate on your past and emotions.  How did you get where you are at now and how can you get to where you want to be in life. Pulling up the resources in your mind will help you become acquainted with self. 

A person needs to know and trust him or herself before they can trust others. Don’t depend on the judgment of others, rather use your own judgment and it will make you feel like a new person. You should always stop and think, so that you learn how to trust you and know who you are. With the fast pace world we live in now you probably put many things aside and because you don’t have time. Take time for yourself and think about it before you do.

When looking back on you life look for the things that made you the way you are today.  Try working on a positive attitude in order to become completely yourself and get that self-awareness back.

Start doing things that make you happy and successful. Bring happiness to yourself and others, it will make you feel good and bring joy to your life. When you are happy you’ll have less stress as well.

Practice yoga and meditate to help you develop. Meditation takes a lot of practice so be patient when using yoga practices and do not expect results to happen over night.

Try to rediscover yourself by writing a journal. Write about how you feel, what you want in life; record it all, write the results as you progress. This will help you decide what is important and what isn’t.  Knowing what is important and what isn’t will bring out the value in you. Knowing your values in life are the key to self-awareness and your personal growth and happiness will bet better as each day goes by.

Set some goals and deadlines on when you want to have them accomplished. Take action right away allowing you to learn and be flexible. With an open mind study and learn from other people. Finding someone to support you in your goals and to listen when you need to talk about where you want to go will help make them easier.

You will have to change the way you have done in the past; you learn by mistakes and you don’t want them to happen again. You want new results and you can do that if you do the mistakes over again.

Establish a Routine in Development

Men are said to be creatures of habit. Once they have finally established a routine that they have grown accustomed to, it is surprisingly hard for them to be susceptible to any changes to this lifestyle. This can have its share of advantages and disadvantages. If the person is able to achieve very healthy habits, such as making certain to exercises on a daily basis, or to eat a specified amount of fruits and vegetables everyday, then falling into this daily habit will actually improve his health. However, if the person chooses instead to make it a regular habit to smoke after meals, or to frequently eat junk food, then he is practicing bad habits that will affect his health if he continues longer. Unfortunately, some habits can be hard to break.

To further one’s personal development, it is important to first assess and come up with a list of habits that you would like to keep, and a list of all the habits that you would like to get rid of. This is because it is important to know at a glance all the bad habits you possess that you want to break, and to list them according to priority or severity. Once this is done, it is important to now list all the causes of your bad habits. Do you overeat because you have nothing else to do, or do you smoke whenever you feel stressed or irritated over something? Knowing the factors that can result in your bad habits can also give you an idea of how to avoid or prevent yourself from doing them the next time around. Also keep note of the frequency that you perform these bad habits. The more times you do a certain habit during the course of the day, the harder it will be to break, so it is important that you are aware of the difficulty as early as possible, in order to plan ahead.

Once all these have been written down, it is now time to make a note of all possible solutions that you can make in order to break yourself of these habits. Choosing to work on something else, or take up a more fulfilling hobby instead of encouraging vice like smoking or overeating for example, can be better substitutes. Put down a schedule of things to do that you are to follow over the course of a few days or a few weeks, making sure that the substitute habits that you put down are reasonable. For habits that you do much more frequently than others, it is always advisable never to quit cold turkey, simply because the urge to fall back on these vices will be stronger. It is advisable instead, to slowly cut back on these habits every few days.

For example, if you are of the habit of smoking five or six times a day, and can finish a pack daily, then start off your schedule by limiting your smoking habits to first three or four times a day, with only half a pack of cigarettes, and then whittling it down to two or three times a day, at a quarter pack. After several more days, once your body has quickly adjusted, you can even whittle it down further to only one cigarette a day.

You are also not limited to just physical bad habits. Consider that if you suffer from other mental habits such as procrastination or workaholics, understand the value setting limits to yourself, or forcing yourself to accomplish certain things everyday. In doing so, you then become accustomed to the extent that you will realize that you no longer need to follow a schedule because you already develop the habits you needed for your personal and interpersonal well being.



Life Changing Transformations 

All human beings at one point in their life feel sad, alone and down in the dumps.
Because of the first sin, we all have to feel grief to make way for the feeling of happiness. Everyday all of us face challenges. It can be truly simple like the problem of your dog peeing in the couch, or may be serious like your brother facing a case for driving with the influence of alcohol. Whatever the case, problems still cause the feeling of sadness. Since there is no way you can get rid of life problems, I have put into words ways to make problems less of a burden.

You Are Not Alone

It will not help in anyway to be asking God questions such as “why does life have to be like this?” or “why do all people seem to be really happy while it seems that all problems have landed on my shoulder?” Questions like this will lead you to think that only you face problems. That, my friend, is not at all true. As I have said, each person in this world holds a problem of his own. Even kid’s face problems like how they could clean all the mess they have made or how they could convince their parent to buy them a pet. It is always nice to know that you are not the only person in the world with problems.  Problems do not seem to follow only you. It goes the same with all persons. Thinking about people who face even bigger, more complicated problems will also help. It helps to think that, if compared to other people, you problems seem to shrink into an ant size one.

Optimism is the key

Problems must be analyzed effectively, rather than viewed as a headache waiting to happen.  It will only make you feel as if there is nothing else it will offer you other than suffering, bad mood, and pains. Make personal transformations while looking at the brighter side of the problem. Think of the problem as an opportunity for you to grow.  This way, they would not seem as if they are burdens but as blessings simply disguised as problems. It is a blessing in some ways. Take it as a challenge. Look forward to how it will help you in the future. Look at how much lessons it will be teaching you. Anticipate the day when you have finally reached the tip of the problem and finally have solved it. Keeping a positive mind will offer you support.  It will be a stepping-stone into a better happier life with lighter problems, which are not actually problems but blessings.

Slow it down

Do not expect things do go as you planned it to because most of the time it would not. Do not think that problems can immediately be fixed because most of the time they cannot. It takes time. One needs to focus and stay determined to get ahead.  Slow things down and take them gradually. Rushing things will only give you unsatisfying results and the feeling that you have worked for 5 days straight. Slowly look at the situation and try to fix it. Try to determine what went wrong and what needs to be changed or done. From there, work it out. Do what you think is right. If things do not go as you wish, deal with it. Do not back out, you have gone this far. Just remember that after all these, a feeling of happiness and satisfaction will reign in you.






Personal Mastery And Organizational Performance

Personal mastery is not something you can accomplish overnight.  It is not just going beyond what you can do with your skills and talents.  Personal mastery is how you understand and direct your life.  For an organization to succeed, each person member of the organization has to be part of the organization purpose and make it their own personal purpose.

When each member of the organization adapts the organization purpose as their purpose, personal and organization growth increases.  Imagine the power of an organization whose member believe and are committed to one idea?  This is the deepest commitment an organization could ever have.

On a “journey” towards personal mastery, you are in search for your life direction and purpose.  You are aware of your personal weaknesses and strength, responsible for your actions and accept who you are.  Followers of personal mastery are capable of accepting the harsh realities and learn to adapt with the changes happening in their surroundings.  Thos who have high level of personal mastery are able to commit into their lives and see themselves as part of the whole.

These people when combined with the members of the group or an organization, they can influence others to have the same thought. They can influence but not control.  Since they are grounded to reality, they can objectively identify the areas where improvements are needed in the organization.  They became a part of the system and see themselves as part of the holistic development of the organization.

Not only do people with high level pf personal mastery able to influence others, their commitment could also be an example and they could also take on leadership in the organization.  Effective managing is one of the necessary methods that can be performed to help other organization members to commit into the organization’s purpose.  Simple act like coaching and counselling can be a great help for promoting personal growth.

Personal mastery also helps organization members to step out of the box or their comfort zones.  Some organization leaders are not comfortable would this idea sometimes, especially if the activities in the comfort zone are those that have produced success.  But stepping out of the comfort zone strips people of the self-imposed limitations.  Personal mastery is about expressing your talents and yourself in creative manner.

Growth and development are the concepts encouraged by personal mastery.  When organization members are working to attain personal mastery, their personal vision clears and starts getting fulfilled. There are changes that can happen when organization members work for personal mastery like easy resolution even in hard issues and cases, teams and groups work easily even if they do not belong in the same department and accomplishments is starting to be common in the organization.

An organization can help their members to attain personal mastery, there are trainings, consultancy and coaching which can be provided to individuals, teams and even to the whole organization. Training and consultations could include self-leadership, stress- management, well being, emotional and social intelligence and other related disciplines.

Dealing with these different aspects would surely improve the organization performance.  Organizations should capitalize on their most important asset, their people.  Organization members who have attained personal mastery would understand the organization’s strategy, how their own actions contribute to their colleague’s and superiors performance, and how their tasks in part of the whole performance.




Harmony and Self Determination 

This little child inside of all of us often reaches out expressing emotions and feelings that most people will ignore. Because many people ignore this inner child, often they drift through the world underdeveloped, which takes them through a series of changes and chaos. Consciousness plays a fundamental part when you are working on building self-determination. This fundamental part has the underlying sources and principles that help us to find answers from the base of our knowledge.

Many times people feel uneasy, and frustrated with life. At this time, it is important to carry on the self-determination process in order to become part of the solution rather than the problem. Self-determination can be identified in a few ways. According to the implicit motive theory and the perspectives of the unconscious motivation, self-determination comes from intrinsic needs. Some theorists believe that we develop determination based on the challenges and the mastery of needs, such as competency.

Some theorists claim that determination crosses over an imaginary line. The theorists typically believe that motives stimulate and articulate the external consciousness. The theorists that consider the motive aspect of self-determination claim that if we can develop natural abilities from the subconscious and unconscious mind, then we can also develop determination in the same way.

Interestingly, these theorists believe that when an entity sets the same or similar goals, the entity will compare it to a particular situation that surrounded the goal. Interestingly enough, when one woman was helped to set boundaries, she associated limits with trauma. The goals she had set throughout her life were left open, and because of the many violations against her, she accepted boundaries as something detestable, rather than rewarding. In order to correct the problem, the woman had to weigh out the pros and cons and compare them to see the benefits of setting boundaries.

All the same, the certainty is that self-determination is achievable only when the peripheral and interior factors act in synchronization with the accepted factors of the Laws of Nature. We have strong elements and the ability to build our skills and motivation. What is obligatory is for us to cultivate the competence to eradicate impediments and the vices in our thinking. We must practice. One should never lose hope. Determination gives one hope, so losing hope will only defeat the purpose. Emotional disturbances and other mental complications can be resolved by working to identify the self and move to self-motivation of a human being and that should be finished with the help of someone that is willing to give you a hand.

The self-determination development is an essential module of our survival. In line with Freud, the diverse parts of a mind should have the competence to stay focused. Freud’s theory leads some people to believe that if the conscious mind and the subconscious mind collide, thus it will cause chaos and confusion.
If challenging circumstances arise in an entity’s life, he or she develops negative thinking and start blaming themselves or others and these results into emotionally disturbance. Into the bargain, vivacity, strength, and dynamism are accomplished by the realization of the mind. With the increasing number of people who are challenged with disorders of the mind, various medical and non-medical therapies have been introduced to help them still find ways to develop determination.

No matter what type of problems you may have, you have the power to take control of your life and build determination, or strength of mind. The most important thing is to make sure that your mind and body works in harmony to ensure that you make it to the finish line.
